The DRIPLOC Pail System is our most commonly used solution for grease containment. The Pail System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.
On average, the pail needs to be replaced during regular hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The original adapters and hose stay, while the new pail is connected taking less than a minute to re-install. It is very easy and clean to take the pail off/on the roof making it the preferred system for hood cleaners.
The DRIPLOC Pail System has the custom manufactured filter medium inside the pail. The pail has 16 drain holes allowing water to pass through it at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the DRIPLOC Pail connected to the drain and “wash the dirty water and grease through the old filter while cleaning” and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations. The DRIPLOC Rack System is our second most commonly used containment system due to it’s versatility and adaptability. The Rack System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.
The DRIPLOC Rack System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “pillow”) inside the rack. The rack has a built in drain that allows water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the old filter in the rack system in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the old filter” while cleaning and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations. During installation only, the Rack System is usually screwed The replacement pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old filter in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible. For extreme volume fans, DRIPLOC has custom manufactured the “Double Deep Rack System” which has twice the absorption capacity as the original DRIPLOC Rack System. Customers are encouraged to purchase the original Rack System first. If the volume of the grease exceeds the original Rack System, DRIPLOC will send you a “Double Deep Rack System.
The DRIPLOC LV Box System is designed for fans that do not create a significant amount of grease, but still need grease containment. The LV Box System screws into the vent or curb under grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. The DRIPLOC LV Box System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “small pillow”) inside the box. The box is not completely sealed on the corners which acts as a drainage system allowing water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the small filter or pillow in the LV Box in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the filter while cleaning” and before installing a new pillow, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations. After the initial installation of the LV Box, only the small pillow (filter) needs to be replaced depending on the volume of grease created by that fan. The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants. The replacement small pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old pillow in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible. |
DRIPLOC Hinge Kits are easily installed (10 minutes) by hood cleaners on exhaust fans to allow hood cleaners the necessary access to the exhaust system to clean it appropriately. Furthermore, DRIPLOC Hinge Kits will help prevent costly repairs to exhaust fan. For installation instructions, visit http://www.driploc.com/install.php
DRIPLOC Hinge Kits allow the exhaust fan to be lifted back and supported during quarterly cleanings. Hood cleaners are forced to wrestle with the fan bowl and set it to the side of the vent. As a result, fan bowls are damaged, fans are knocked off balance, and wires are damaged. Even the most careful hood cleaners are prone to accident and without hinge kits installed, exhaust fans become unnecessarily vulnerable to these types of accidents.
DRIPLOC hinges work and they are one of the most affordable hinge kit on the market. The DRIPLOC Hinge Kit comes with the hinges, chains, and screws to install during a nightly cleaning. One DRIPLOC Hinge Kit will be necessary for each exhaust fan. It only takes 10 minutes to install. For installation instructions, visit http://www.driploc.com/install.php
All DRIPLOC hinges are made of heavy duty steel in order to last for years and to support the weight of most any exhaust fan. And most of all, because of their design, DRIPLOC hinges are the easiest on the market to install. Time equals money.
