HINGE INSTALLATION |
1. Place the open gap up to identify the top of the hinge. |

2. Slide the hinge to the corner edge of the fan
base. |
|
3. Tighten the bolt until the hinge starts to spread
(1/8 inch). Do not over tighten. |
|
4. Tighten the lock nut until snug.
|
|
5. Apply the 4 self tapping 3/8 inch screws with a
drill. |
|
6. Install the second hinge. |
|
7. Now install the safety chains at the very corner
of the fan base. |
|
8. Make sure the screw is at the very corner and
don't over tighten. |
|
9. Now you are ready to lean the fan back and set the
safety chain length. Have someone help you with this. |
|
10. Make sure you install the screw low enough that
the fan doesn't contact the screw when the fan is lowered. |
|
11. Repeat the safety chain install on the other
side. |
|
12. Cut off any excess chain. |
|
13. Make sure you install BOTH safety chains. All
done. |
