Grease Containment Systems

DRIPLOC specializes is grease containment for the roof of thousands of restaurants utilizing our custom manufactured filter systems.
Our custom manufactured DRIPLOC Filter allows water (rainwater and dirty-greasy water from vent hood cleaners) to flow through our custom manufactured filter, while encapsulating the grease from the exhaust fan.
Simply put, the DRIPLOC Filter catches the grease while allowing water to pass through it, preventing new grease deposits from ever hitting the roof.
Once the system has been installed, the DRIPLOC Filter needs to be changed during regular scheduled hood cleanings.

Our DRIPLOC System is easily installed (less than 10 minutes). In addition, we currently provide substantial techn support that includes one-on-one problem solving phone calls and excellent web installation photos and instructions.

DRIPLOC was designed by hood cleaners, for hood cleaners, and tested in real on-site environments for over 5 years. DRIPLOC uses a natural ingredient as part of our filter system. This process produces a super-absorbent filtering product that resists water-based re-hydration, but absorbs and encapsulates oil and other hydrocarbons. What you end up with is a 100% organic, non-leeching filter that locks in grease and oil, and lets water pass right though. The DRIPLOC Filter brings you the safest, non-leeching, proven method for absorbing oil and grease anywhere.

It works, more affordable, and it’s guaranteed. Our systems are more effective than any other competitor on the market. Because we custom manufacture our products we are also able to make our systems more affordable than other companies. In addition, we guarantee our customers (restaurants and hood cleaners) 100% satisfaction.

Depending on a multitude of factors, DRIPLOC has many different solutions to the problems caused by exhaust fan grease. Please review our product tour below and contact us directly toll free with more questions at 1-877-DRIPLOC

In addition, we offer a inexpensive “GET AQUAINTED KIT” built for hood cleaners. Please review the various DRIPLOC PRODUCTS below.

Listed below, you will find descriptions and pictures in order of the most commonly used approaches by DRIPLOC and hood cleaners.

DRIPLOC Pail System (Medium & High Volume Fan)
The DRIPLOC Pail System is our most commonly used solution for grease containment. The Pail System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.

On average, the pail needs to be replaced during regular hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The original adapters and hose stay, while the new pail is connected taking less than a minute to re-install. It is very easy and clean to take the pail off/on the roof making it the preferred system for hood cleaners.

The DRIPLOC Pail System has the custom manufactured filter medium inside the pail. The pail has 16 drain holes allowing water to pass through it at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the DRIPLOC Pail connected to the drain and “wash the dirty water and grease through the old filter while cleaning” and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

DRIPLOC Rack System (Medium & High Volume Fan)

The DRIPLOC Rack System is our second most commonly used containment system due to it’s versatility and adaptability. The Rack System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.

The DRIPLOC Rack System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “pillow”) inside the rack. The rack has a built in drain that allows water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the old filter in the rack system in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the old filter” while cleaning and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

During installation only, the Rack System is usually screwed into the vent or curb under the drain spout for the exhaust fan. After the initial installation of the rack, only the pillow (filter) needs to be replaced during regular scheduled hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants.

The replacement pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old filter in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible.

For extreme volume fans, DRIPLOC has custom manufactured the “Double Deep Rack System” which has twice the absorption capacity as the original DRIPLOC Rack System. Customers are encouraged to purchase the original Rack System first. If the volume of the grease exceeds the original Rack System, DRIPLOC will send you a “Double Deep Rack System.

DRIPLOC LV Box System

(Low Volume Fan e.g. Fry Fan)

The DRIPLOC LV Box System is designed for fans that do not create a significant amount of grease, but still need grease containment.

The LV Box System screws into the vent or curb under grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans.

The DRIPLOC LV Box System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “small pillow”) inside the box. The box is not completely sealed on the corners which acts as a drainage system allowing water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the small filter or pillow in the LV Box in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the filter while cleaning” and before installing a new pillow, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

After the initial installation of the LV Box, only the small pillow (filter) needs to be replaced depending on the volume of grease created by that fan.

The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants. The replacement small pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old pillow in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible.
