DRIPLOC specializes is grease containment for the roof of thousands of restaurants utilizing our custom manufactured filter systems.
Our custom manufactured DRIPLOC Filter allows water (rainwater and dirty-greasy water from vent hood cleaners) to flow through our custom manufactured filter, while encapsulating the grease from the exhaust fan.
Simply put, the DRIPLOC Filter catches the grease while allowing water to pass through it, preventing new grease deposits from ever hitting the roof.
Once the system has been installed, the DRIPLOC Filter needs to be changed during regular scheduled hood cleanings.

Our DRIPLOC System is easily installed (less than 10 minutes). In addition, we currently provide substantial techn support that includes one-on-one problem solving phone calls and excellent web installation photos and instructions.

DRIPLOC was designed by hood cleaners, for hood cleaners, and tested in real on-site environments for over 5 years. DRIPLOC uses a natural ingredient as part of our filter system. This process produces a super-absorbent filtering product that resists water-based re-hydration, but absorbs and encapsulates oil and other hydrocarbons. What you end up with is a 100% organic, non-leeching filter that locks in grease and oil, and lets water pass right though. The DRIPLOC Filter brings you the safest, non-leeching, proven method for absorbing oil and grease anywhere.

It works, more affordable, and it’s guaranteed. Our systems are more effective than any other competitor on the market. Because we custom manufacture our products we are also able to make our systems more affordable than other companies. In addition, we guarantee our customers (restaurants and hood cleaners) 100% satisfaction.

Depending on a multitude of factors, DRIPLOC has many different solutions to the problems caused by exhaust fan grease. Please review our product tour below and contact us directly toll free with more questions at 1-877-DRIPLOC

In addition, we offer a inexpensive “GET AQUAINTED KIT” built for hood cleaners. Please review the various DRIPLOC PRODUCTS below.

Listed below, you will find descriptions and pictures in order of the most commonly used approaches by DRIPLOC and hood cleaners.

DRIPLOC Pail System (Medium & High Volume Fan)
The DRIPLOC Pail System is our most commonly used solution for grease containment. The Pail System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.

On average, the pail needs to be replaced during regular hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The original adapters and hose stay, while the new pail is connected taking less than a minute to re-install. It is very easy and clean to take the pail off/on the roof making it the preferred system for hood cleaners.

The DRIPLOC Pail System has the custom manufactured filter medium inside the pail. The pail has 16 drain holes allowing water to pass through it at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the DRIPLOC Pail connected to the drain and “wash the dirty water and grease through the old filter while cleaning” and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

DRIPLOC Rack System (Medium & High Volume Fan)

The DRIPLOC Rack System is our second most commonly used containment system due to it’s versatility and adaptability. The Rack System adapts to the grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans. You can view it’s various adaptations.

The DRIPLOC Rack System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “pillow”) inside the rack. The rack has a built in drain that allows water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the old filter in the rack system in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the old filter” while cleaning and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

During installation only, the Rack System is usually screwed into the vent or curb under the drain spout for the exhaust fan. After the initial installation of the rack, only the pillow (filter) needs to be replaced during regular scheduled hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants.

The replacement pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old filter in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible.

For extreme volume fans, DRIPLOC has custom manufactured the “Double Deep Rack System” which has twice the absorption capacity as the original DRIPLOC Rack System. Customers are encouraged to purchase the original Rack System first. If the volume of the grease exceeds the original Rack System, DRIPLOC will send you a “Double Deep Rack System.

DRIPLOC LV Box System

(Low Volume Fan e.g. Fry Fan)

The DRIPLOC LV Box System is designed for fans that do not create a significant amount of grease, but still need grease containment.

The LV Box System screws into the vent or curb under grease drain found on the many different styles of exhaust fans.

The DRIPLOC LV Box System has the custom manufactured filter (aka “small pillow”) inside the box. The box is not completely sealed on the corners which acts as a drainage system allowing water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the small filter or pillow in the LV Box in place while “washing the dirty water and grease through the filter while cleaning” and before installing a new pillow, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.

After the initial installation of the LV Box, only the small pillow (filter) needs to be replaced depending on the volume of grease created by that fan.

The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants. The replacement small pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old pillow in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible.

EASY TO SELL! It’s really a WIN-WIN!

DRIPLOC Grease Containment Systems are easy to sell to your restaurants. First, most restaurants have some type of grease on their roof. As their hood cleaner, you have intimate knowledge of their needs and instant creditability. Here’s an example of what we and our hood cleaners share with our restaurants.

1.
Your roof has grease on it.
2.
We really need to get some type of grease containment system in place, it’s part of the NFPA Fire Code 96.
3.
Grease on the roof is a fire hazard and fire code violation
4.
Grease on the roof is a potential EPA/OSHA violation as rainwater pushes the grease to the city drainage system. The grease containment system will prevent grease from getting on the roof or drains.
5.
Grease on the roof causes your roof to deteriorate, causing costly repairs.
6.
Most grease containment systems are expensive running thousands of dollars to install.
7.
I can get DRIPLOC, a grease containment system, at a significant discount.
8.
DRIPLOC is the most effective and affordable grease containment system I’ve found on the market.
9.
After installation, it would only cost about $50-60/quarter to maintain. (You get the necessary product from us and charge your restaurant a small service fee every time you clean their restaurant…charge whatever you feel necessary)
10.
The initial installation is usually $75-100 which includes the product, adaptors, freight, etc.
11.
Basically, what we’re looking at is the initial installation of $100 plus $50-60/quarter to maintain it for you as opposed to some of the more expensive containment systems that don’t work as well and detoriate with time.
12.
Also, DRIPLOC has a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.
13.
I can just add the charge to my hood cleaning bill or bill you separately, it’s your call.

Note: The above example was for restaurants that only need grease containment for one fan. Some restaurants may have more than one fan, but really don’t need the filter replacement on all fans. Let volume dictate how often you change the filter. In those cases, we usually recommend a LV Box and only change the filter as needed.

DRIPLOC Hinge Kits

Why Are Hinge Kits Necessary?
DRIPLOC Hinge Kits are easily installed (10 minutes) by hood cleaners on exhaust fans to allow hood cleaners the necessary access to the exhaust system to clean it appropriately. Furthermore, DRIPLOC Hinge Kits will help prevent costly repairs to exhaust fan. For installation instructions, visit http://www.driploc.com/install.php

HOW CAN HINGE KITS SAVE MONEY?
DRIPLOC Hinge Kits allow the exhaust fan to be lifted back and supported during quarterly cleanings. Hood cleaners are forced to wrestle with the fan bowl and set it to the side of the vent. As a result, fan bowls are damaged, fans are knocked off balance, and wires are damaged. Even the most careful hood cleaners are prone to accident and without hinge kits installed, exhaust fans become unnecessarily vulnerable to these types of accidents.

WHY CHOOSE DRIPLOC HINGE KITS?
DRIPLOC hinges work and they are one of the most affordable hinge kit on the market. The DRIPLOC Hinge Kit comes with the hinges, chains, and screws to install during a nightly cleaning. One DRIPLOC Hinge Kit will be necessary for each exhaust fan. It only takes 10 minutes to install. For installation instructions, visit http://www.driploc.com/install.php

All DRIPLOC hinges are made of heavy duty steel in order to last for years and to support the weight of most any exhaust fan. And most of all, because of their design, DRIPLOC hinges are the easiest on the market to install. Time equals money.

SATISFACTION Guarantee!

If you order the DRIPLOC Hinge Kit and are not completely satisfied with it’s performance, send it back and we will refund your money, GUARANTEED!

HOW DO WE SELL SO MANY HINGE KITS?
DRIPLOC Hinge Kits work! They are a win-win for all involved.

Here’s what we and our hood cleaners tell our clients. “Your exhaust fan needs hinges." Here why:

1.
I can’t clean your exhaust system appropriately without them.
2.
Due to claims for damaged exhaust fans, my insurance company is now requiring me to install these hinge kits on my fans because it decreases everyone’s liability.
3.
I need better access to the back of the fan blades to prevent it from becoming off balanced due to the carbon build up on fan blades.
4.
I need better access to the vent itself to clean it to NFPA standards. Top to bottom cleaning is required.
5.
I don’t want to tear out your electric trying to clean your fan appropriately.
6.
I don’t want to tear up your exhaust fan by denting it during my cleaning.
7.
It will save the restaurant money in the long run.
8.
I can install your hinge kit for $75-100 or you can get some other sheet metal guy to do it, but because I’m going to be there during my cleaning, I can do it much cheaper. A sheet metal guy will probably charge you $200-300 to come out and do it for you. Regardless of who does it, it needs to be done ASAP.

They are used by vent hood cleaners to quickly hang plastic during the job on metallic and many non-metallic surfaces.

SUPER STRONG

The magnets used in the GRIPLOC System have, on average, 200 times the pulling force of the regular magnets.

MULTIPLE SURFACE USE
Even when you encounter low-grade Stainless Steel and many other non-metallic surfaces, by using two GRIPLOC Magnets together you have the power to pull through the surface and hang the plastic just as well

DURABILITY
Regular magnets are very brittle and after repeated use they will chip, crack and break. The magnets used in GRIPLOC System are incased in an industrial aluminum case that protects them from damage. The aluminum case also gives you the leverage needed to easily handle and remove the magnets from surfaces.

Hood cleaners don’t lose GRIPLOC Magnets. First of all, they are big enough that they are not easily misplaced. Secondly and more importantly, your spray techs will NOT lose them because he will NOT want to be without them. If he lost these magnets, it would be like him losing his spray wand. He won’t want to lose these magnets.
